Everything was brand-new during 1 day, enjoyed its peaceful location close enough to nearest shops, taxis, and Lanchester. We were in a cottage with an electric kettle, a microwave oven, and a stone fireplace.

Stayed at a place near cool attractions like Sage Gateshead, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, and Newcastle Train Station. Also, a hop away from Newcastle International Airport. So convenient!

It is beautifully furnished and tastefully renovated, providing a unique and quirky atmosphere. the comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom with both shower and bath ensure a relaxing stay. the host, Katie, is extremely obliging and helpful, ensuring that guests have everything they need.

Although towels were provided upon request, it would have been more convenient if they were already included in the cottage.

Our stay at Farthing Cottage was absolutely delightful. The cottage itself is beautifully renovated with high-quality furnishings and fittings. We loved the peaceful and quiet location in the countryside. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom were all very clean and well-maintained. The check-in process was easy, and we felt completely at home during our stay. We will definitely be returning next year. I highly recommend this wonderful cottage.
